Alphabet- First learn the Arabic alphabet and pronounce it correctly; refine the pronunciation that it doesn’t sound similar to non-Arabic letters . 2. Vocabulary- After learning the Arabic alphabet, move on to the Arabic Vocabulary; nouns, verbs, particles. Refine pronunciation and let your teacher explain the words to you . 3. Sentences - Next! Alhamdolillah. It’s been 5 years since I launched UmmAssadHomeschool.com. . . How time flies! Half a decade later and how much has changed; I have a big family of my own, authored children’s books and so much more. Alhamdolillah. . . After praising Allaah Ta’ala, Im so grateful to my number one supporter... my mother! She believed in me when i didn’t believe in myself. May Allaah have mercy on our Mothers! Also jazaakom Allaahu khair all my amazing supporters from my husband and our children and all my followers etc. May Allaah bless you all! . . For all my new followers, please allow me to quickly introduce myself. I am Umm Assad (my kunya before I became a mother). Lions have always inspired me in their nature; their togetherness, brotherhood, protectiveness, and noble, faithful traits. Anyone who knows me well will know that if I could have one as a pet, I would bi’ithnillaah! . . UmmAssadHomeschool was born the same year we decided to homeschool. I produced ‘My First Curriculum’ not long after, followed by many other resources that quickly became popular and are still used by many parents/teachers worldwide in both homeschools and schools. Alhamdolillah . . Cut a long story short. I’ve always had a passion for writing and caring for others. I became a carer from the age of 14 years onwards whilst writing poetry in my free time from the age of 7 at least. This is how i spent my time as a kid while the other kids went out to play i was somewhere alone with my pen and paper scribbling notes about life or drawing pictures with so much detail. Little did i know, i was trying to be an author. . . My favourite topic at the moment; SOCIALISING! . . Socialising has its benefits but remember as Muslims what matters most about socialising is we must always be careful who we socialise with and how we socialise. A person is judged by his/her companion. . . Know, and may Allaah make us successful, the boundaries within the deen. . . Who’s ever been guilty of saying ‘No’ to their children to any one of these traits listed in the picture (if not all)?! . . Ok I’ll start with myself. Im guilty of them all sometimes alot of the time but not all the time. Hey I’m human. Aren’t we all? . . Raising a seeker of knowledge takes patience and understanding. There will be good days and there will be hard days but the one thing we need to remember is that children naturally already have the traits in them that they need to be seekers of knowledge. Our job is to nurture these qualities accordingly and be very patient upon it in shaa Allaah. . . The way I see it is, when a child asks for something that doesn’t pose any harm in it and you are able to provide a way then dont say no coz it could be the very thing your child needs to grow and succeed! . .
