Description:
Meet Abdullah Hakeem, an introverted and curious young boy who loves his peaceful home-school life on the serene farm. Life couldn’t be sweeter, surrounded by his modest family and the tranquil presence of honeybees, reminding us that sometimes, it’s the quiet ones who shine the brightest.
However, his peaceful life takes a dramatic turn with the devastating news of the death of his grandmother, who had a passion for beekeeping. This profound loss pushes Abdullah in a whirlwind of challenges, and out of his comfort zone, compelling him to cherish her legacy, unravel the mystery of a beehive thief, alongside his subtle yearning for an emotional bond with his protective father during his time of need.
As you delve into this enchanting adventure, be prepared to witness a young soul’s growth. Often bottling up his own emotions to keep the peace, Abdullah strives to excel as a son, brother, and friend. His journey of self-discovery unfolds under the guidance of his wise Grandpa Luqman who offers him another perspective to his own, while adhering to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf.
‘Abdullah Hakeem: Cherishing a Sweet Legacy’ resonates with anyone who has found strength in silence and hope through pain. Join Abdullah as he navigates through life’s changes, strengthens generational bonds, and finds solace in a world filled with chaos.
Please note that this book is inspired by true events and real-life stories. The names and details have been changed to protect privacy, but the events retain their historical and emotional accuracy. It also touches on themes of loss and grief, which may be sensitive for younger readers.
Recommended for Ages 8-12 years

Alhamdulillaah, very intertaining. Sutaible for older than 7-14. But I don’t think 6 and under may find it nice as it’s more for older kids. BaarakAllaah feeki Umm Assad. This was very nice and just the kind that boosters young children nowadays, because all our youth are now joining gangs and leaving from the correct path, SubhanAllaah. JazaakilAllaah Khair, may Allaah bless it for you and give you rewards for each person who read this book and benefits from it, Aameen.

My son is 4 and as he asks more questions about Islam and how it relates to his life, it would be cool to have a story that mirrors some of his own experiences and inquiries. This book would be perfect because it’s a trusted Muslim storyteller creating something that me and my zawj can share with my son as his first chapter book as well.

Assalamu alaikum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu. I would love this book for my 12 year old daughter. She loves reading books and keen in gaining Islamic knowledge.
I realize that there are very limited resources for kids which abide by the Quran and Sunnah. Your publications is one among them, which we all must cherish. Hope this book would bring joy to her, while gaining Islamic knowledge as well. Jazak Allah Khair.

My son Abdullah is an avid reader and is transitioning from picture books to chapter books. Chapter books are actually quite difficult to screen for questionable content but alhamdulillah I can trust your content to be beneficial, clean and authentic thus making this book a very valuable addition to our shelf. May Allah reward you and bless all your efforts for our future Ummah. Ameen.

Salam aleikum,
this book sound’s MashaAllah awesome! We want this book, because we really need more Muslim books for our kids. At the moment they are obsessed with reading but most books are from non Muslim and we want to try and shift the focus to Muslim books. The more they read Muslim books, especially if it’s a captivating story with a Muslim character/theme they will be able to identify with it and getting used to Muslim topics! In sha Allah!

My daughter loves your books she has recently finished reading the four women promised paradise. And she literally asked me is there anymore books form yourself for her to read. I told her about this book coming and instantly she said she wanted it. She is 7 years old and has started to read chapter books but loves reading Islamic ones. I feel like your stories and references are trustworthy and authentic and I can leave her to read the book without me being worried. Keep up the amazing work.

We have many of the Umm Assad Publications books already in our collection and as my son is growing up his understanding of the words and the messages and meanings within the text is solidifying more each day. We have insightful and important conversations about the foundations of the religion such as Tawheed and the way a Muslim should be in this world to gain the hereafter. These books open up the door for questions to come from the children and for us parents to answer them if we are able to. This is one of the best ways of learning and homeschooling and I know this book would allow us to do the same. In sha Allaah.
